For the Rosarians, what is a rose that..

pootpoot1(9B inland empire)September 23, 2013

Hi, I would really be grateful if you guys can help me and suggest a rose that best fits with the description.

Is suited for Southern California, 9b zone.
A strong sweet fragrance, not any citrus fragrance. Probably the most important thing for me is fragrance.
Preferably an antique rose but if not, then it's fine.
repeat or continual bloomer.

What about Abraham Darby? It's one of the David Austin roses. Pastel coral, great fragrance.

Kippy(SoCal zone 10. Sunset Zone 24)

I would suggest asking on the antique rose forum

FYI I am in SoCal and my Abraham Darby is horrid. I have tried in a couple spots. Next spot is the green waste bin. Bought from a reputable supplier not a body bag cheapie

A bigger found rose that has few thorns. Pink sweet scented blooms with care is "Grandmothers Hat"
