Need help, moving and want to dig up my bulbs

flower_lover_ga(z7GA)February 4, 2013

Hi all, I am moving and want to take my bulbs. Daffs have started to peek out. I have 20 days to dig them up and want to know should I put them directly in ground or store them. I think dig and prepare soil at new place and plant them.
Your expertise is greatly appreciated.

I think dig and place in pots, then you can enjoy them, and then pull out and store for fall planting, when you have had time to prepare a new bed. Moving is hard enough. bulbs can wait, getting your house together and planting some perennials/annuals cannot.
