What type of geranium is this?

Hi there!! I know this is a geranium (I'm a newbie here) but I'm not sure exactly what type it is or where/how I should deadhead? Thank you :)!

It's a zonal pelargonium, commonly, but botanically-speaking incorrectly, known as 'Geraniums'. There are literally hundreds of varieties so I can't name this particular one for you but care-wise it makes no difference. To deadhead just wait until all or most of the florets on a cluster are over and, holding it at the base, bend the stem of the whole cluster sideways. It will snap off at the main stem. Don't bother trying to dead head individual florets.
