Yellow Geranium question

fizgig777(7)July 1, 2006

Have been looking to acquire a yellow geranium for years -- plant or cutting. Can't seem to find a source for them. Posted here in the trade section and someone responded with "they don't exist."

Can anyone forward info. on a supplier or something? Or maybe be willing to trade a cutting or two?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Can email or respond here...

Um...
Why do you not want to buy it from the nursery you linked from? Because it's $25? Pricey yes, but rare plants usually are.

I dont think its a true yellow, more like a cream from mixing a white pel with an orange.
The lack of zones on the leaves shows the white flowered parentage, as white pel has clear green leaves.

sue... Don't trust the supplier. Especially being the only one to supply the plant. While I would like to have a yellow, I'm not necessarily willing to pay close to $50 for a plant that may not survive shipping from a supplier that has said they don't refund for shipping failures. I may want a yellow geranium, but I'm not willing to sacrifice common sense to get it ;)

green.... Thanks for the info. Think you may be right about it not being a true yellow. Still an interesting color, though =]

Oh yers, it is interesting, but i couldnt justify paying that much for a plant, unless I was a lotto winner ;)
