Fragrant Winter Blooming Flowers?

KJMMJuly 29, 2014

So, I have ITOH Peonies for Spring fragrance, and I just got Plumerias for Summer (which bloom through October where I am, apparently), and now I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for a Winter blooming fragrant flower?

The sites are hot and full sun.

Pink jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum) is the first thing that comes to my mind. I personally dislike the scent but many people rave about it and I can attest to how strong and wafty the scent is.

In some areas like SoCal, many fall planted bulbs will bloom as early as January. Consider fragrant daffodils and hyacinths.
