jasmine I.D

fragrant2008July 28, 2014

Two I.D please

First off i have this labeled as jasmine maid of orleans but it looks different to my other jasime maid of orleans

Second question this is being sold as again maid of orleans but looks more to me like a possible Belle of India??

or are they all just varieties of maid of orleans? There are no shops selling Jasmine here in the uk so i have to go with ebay or european shops where a lot of misinformation comes into play :(

Hi Brian!

Nice book by the way. ;)

The first could be Mysore Mulli.

The second definitely looks like Belle of India.
If you don't already own it grab it! I love Belle's scent.

If you go through the thread I attached you'll see my pics of both varieties.

I'm not a jasmine expert though so I'm sure others will chime in. :)

The pic definitely looks like Belle unless they just stole it and are selling MOO instead.
The elongated buds will be the telltale sign! :)
