Hermania Verticillata

Saw this at Logee's catalog. If anyone grows it, I would appreciate hearing about the fragrance. Trying to figure out if it's worth the purchase.

Hi FG!

I grew it over the winter and it bloomed for me this spring.
It took it a little while to start wafting but it does smell awesome. To me the scent reminds me of Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) tree flowers. I love the scent however the flower bud formation requirements of nighttime temperatures in the thirties can be tricky and a pain in the hiney. I was always watching the weather and bringing them down into the basement if it got too cold. Laugh.

Anyway I got rid of mine when I was doing my annual thin the pots routine early this summer.

Definitely worth trying at least once. :)

You're welcome!
I've learned so much from the kind, knowledgeable people on this forum who share their experiences with plants. :)
