I have checked several places online and some say zone 8and others say 9 ...I loved these in Ohio, has anyone in the Jax area ever been able to grow these?
nope. nor the violets, peonies or lilacs I loved so in Ohio. BUT - we have orchids, crepe myrtle, gardinias, jasmines, and a host of other fragrant, beautiful plants that thrive in this climate. They MIGHT survive on the inland Fl/GA border area, which would be zone 8B. cora
I don't miss LOV at all, the temptation to bend all the way down to smell them usually ended in dirty knees and disappointment at the faintness of the fragrance. I'll take jasmine, daphne and gardenias over them every time!
I'm a big fan of the show Breaking Bad but found their use of LOV grown indoors in New Mexico to be highly suspect.
> nor the violets
But violets are everywhere in the woods in northern FL? Confused by this.
