Good Morning,

I just tried to do my first post and i did not see it so here i go again.

HELP! My new transplants leaves are being eaten my tomato and Basil. I just put my homegrown Heirloom tomato plants (started from seed) in the ground Wednesday and when i went to plant the rest yesterday a bunch of leaves were eaten! This is scaring me as i worked so hard on these Babies! This is also happening to my Basil. Who or what is attacking my plants? I need to stop them! What can i put down or spray, it has to be organic and earth friendly. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your time

You could try putting half a toilet paper roll or a quarter of a paper towel roll in a ring around the stem to keep out any creepers, but do this only if the plant is very small. You can also sprinkle diamotaceous Earth around the plant (and even on the plant) do it after you water too, it only works when it is dry and visible.

How tiny are the plants that are getting eaten?
