What is on my Pumpkins??

nopeekingSeptember 18, 2013

I live in Oklahoma. My pumpkins (Big Max variety) seemed to be doing great until about two weeks ago. Leaves started to look droopy, which I attributed to very hot days, although I was watering them every other day for a couple hours each time. I noticed a couple days ago that there are yellow eggs of some sort all over the under sides of the leaves. What are they?

Hello, Those look like aphids. I don't know much about your background so I can't suggest much. I would look for a good insecticide specifically for aphids.

p.s. we grow a lot of pumpkins and have battled them with success.
