yahwehsmymasterMay 18, 2010

My aunt told me this is called a pink but when I looked up pinks on line this didn't seem to fit. It is pale pink with darker pink viens, its slightly cupped, and 4 petals. there was only one flower open but several buds at the end of the same stem. I have pictures but cant figure out how to post them. but I could email them..

Thank you for any insight..

Does it look similar to this?

By the way, "Dianthus" is the botanical name for what is commonly known as "pinks". You could try searching for pictures of that. The one known as Sweet William comes in many different colors.
