leaves on squash turning brown

flgatorMay 8, 2009

At the east end of my garden my previously healthy squash suddenly has leaves turning brown. These are the outer leaves with the internal leaves OK so far. The zucchini at the other end of my garden is OK. An okra plant near the affected squash also seems to be having the same problem. I will post pics later this evening. Any ideas what is going on?

Hi: I am also having a problem with my squash plant..it is wilting in AM, then coming back to life but many leaves have become soft, brown on edges, and then die. I have been picking them off, stems and all. The stems are hollow...does this mean it is a vine borer? I am growing in dwc with general hydro nutrients....tomatoes doing same thing although not so bad....
