HAVE: Ribbon Grass 'Detroit Zoo'

lauramich(z5 So. Michigan)March 17, 2007

If you've ever been to the Detroit Zoo you've seen this 18"-24" striped ornamental grass growing all over the beautiful volunteer-kept gardens as one plant long ago was shared until it's a part of many of the garden beds there. I was passing by a volunteer one day who was pulling out some of the grass that had gotten a little too widespread. She was happy to share. It grows somewhat quickly and lights up a dark corner in the garden.

Check out my trade list if you'd like some 'Detroit Zoo'.

I'd love to get some ornamental grasses in my yard! I have naturalized orange daylillies, french hybrid lilac, purple bearded iris, lovely little blue violets, grape hyacinths, rose of sharon, trumpet vine to trade. I'm also interested in your Red Bee balm, Monarda 'Jacob Cline' , Ostrich fern, catnip, gooseberry, feverfew, dogwoods, and raspberries. Also, check out my trade list for others. Let me know!
