squash help

i have two questions.

1-looking to do a tasty summer squash vertically at the back of our garden. need some suggestions for something good for our hot humid summers here in maryland.

2-need ideas for cheap but sturdy trellis to make for it.

1. most summer squash are in bush form.

2. There are two zucchini substitutes frequently grown for summer squash. The C.moschata Trombocino is the most popular. Actually a form of butternut. The other is a the Lagenaria siceraria variety Cucuzzi sometimes sold as Italian squash. Both are rampant vining.
