Groundcover for perennial beds
I have perennial beds cut into the front lawn of my home, totaling about 4' wide and 100' long. Because of the nature of the plantings many of which I'm encouraging to spread or reseed, I'm reluctant to use mulch, but rather thought that a perennial would be better. The beds are in full sun, somewhat raised and well-drained. They are easily separated and maintained from the surrounding lawn. I was wondering if periwinkle would be a good choice.
