Blue Arrow Spring Cut?

stitchin1950April 6, 2014

This is the first spring for my 4 Blue Arrow foundation plantings. I have just read that they should be cut back in late winter. Have I missed the timeframe for cutting and should I just leave them for this year and then cut late next winter. It's gonna get down to 30 degrees tonight but no snow forecasted!! How much growth could I expect this year if i cut back today? Thanks from fledgling shrubber

It isn't too late to cut them back now. Just examine them carefully, and don't cut them low enough to get into any new growth.

You'll probably find they'll grow to at least a few inches taller than they are now.
