I've grown one for years under a tree and it has been a lovely plant but would like more and they are never available.

Cytisus decumbens--Prostrate Broom

Hardiness Zones: 6 to 8

Height: 6 in Spread: Form: spreading

Type: deciduous shrub

Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches

Flowers: Yellow

Comments: This low, spreading shrub can be used as a ground

cover or rock garden plant. The yellow flowers occur singly

or in groups of two or three. An abundance of flowers are

produced in May. The plant is native to southern Europe.
