Cooking Tromboncino

I just had to try to grow this squash since it looked so strange and had good reviews here.

Now, how to you cook it? Just like zucchini? On the grill, in olive oil or steamed with onion?

I need some good recipes.

I did try searching other parts of the forums but this search engine leaves much to be desired.

I am growing it for the first time, too. If picked young and small, you use it just like zucchini. (For neighbors who ask I call it my fake Italian zucchini.) If left on longer (too long?) it hardens like a winter squash. I plan to use it as a zucchini substitute.
