New grass seed!

donn_(7b-8a)May 23, 2006

I guess I can't get enough. Yesterday's mail brought me:

Big Sacaton (Sporobolus wrightii)

Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii)

Little Bluestem (Andropogon scoparius or Schizachyrium scoparium, which is it?)

My understanding is that none of them require cold stratification, so I'm going to sow them now.

Any experience with these?

Don,
None of these species require cold stratification. Sow away!

I don't suppose you would be willing to swap a little of that seed would you?? That is, if I can find you some seed that you don't already have :o)

Sure. I bought 2 packets, 300 seeds each. How many do you want, and what do you have?

Send me an email.
