Ground Cover Recommendation

meppwcJune 27, 2013

I have a garden that has a lot of clay and probably gets 75% sun

Looking for perennial ground cover seeds that can provide the following:
- no more than 6" height
- variety of color
- variety of types of plants
- spring/summer blooming

Hopefully there is a package "mix" of variety available to meet my needs

Look at the thymes that High Country Garden carries. Not seeds, but plants.

Lamium prefers shade - will not be happy in 75% sun. And only the species is available by seed - all named cultivars or those with the heavily patterned foliage and colorful flowers are grown from cuttings or plugs.

Thyme is a much better choice and various creeping thymes can be grown from seed.
