shipping/packaging question...

Tamarack_Tillie(z4U.P.)July 11, 2005

I hope this forum is the right place to ask my question.

I'm planning on shipping snow on the mountain to a friend.

Should I remove the leaves of the plants before I package them? There are only a couple leaves per plant.

Thanks!

Paula

Paula, it's not necessary to remove the leaves. I just wrap the roots (not the whole plant) in barely damp moss or shredded newspaper and cover (root section only) with Saranwrap. You can then wrap the whole plant loosely in dry newspaper or slip into a cardboard roller from papertowels, etc., tape in place in sturdy carton and away you go! josh
