Deschampia flexuosa

manifest(USDA 11a, Sunset 24, CA)May 28, 2005

I have a clump of this grass that sprouted seedheads about two months ago. Am wondering if I have to cutdown the seed stalks at some point or if I can just leave it alone to die back later on in the season.

You can leave them on if you would like, for its a matter of looks if you decide to leave them on or not. If youcut them now, more focus will be towards foliage and root development, and maybe even spur new blooms...
