Best time to plant stepables?

rachel77(7 TX)August 21, 2005

If I bought stepables say in a month or so, could I plant them and be successful? Or is it best to wait until spring? I'll probably be ordering the mini brass buttons.

Thanks!

Rachel

I think fall will be fine in z7. Just remember to keep them watered, but not too wet through the winter. Winter wet is really hard on plants- the water just sits and drowns the roots since the evaporation and plant usage are way down.
