i have 2 healthy plants that i bought a few years back but they have never bloomed. wondering if a certain fertilizer or some sand from the beach would be good? appreciate any help, ian
Chasmanthium latifolium? They are a grass - no fertilizing necessary. Although tolerant of rather poor soils, they prefer fertile, moist soils.
Plant has a reputation for serious self-seeding....in a very mild climate such as yours I'm surprised it hasn't done so prolifically.
You might try posting on the Ornamental Grasses forum also.
