Gash in pumpkin

killerwhale1July 4, 2014

The neighbour kids were messing with my pumpkins and they put a dime size gash into my pumpkin that is about the size of a grape fruit. Will this affect the growing? I am growing them in a huge pot so I moved them to my porch but they don't get full sun there, will that be a problem? I can move them to a sunnier area. Thank you to anyone who can answer my questions!

I think it'll be fine, but it may have a scar ;) I think it'll also be fine on your porch as long as it gets some sun.
