Narcissus bulbs

Can there be any harm planting narcissus bulbs in the Atlanta area now, in September, while the weather is still warm?

Dormant bulbs planted now might begin to sprout in the warm soil. Bulbs already in the soil don't do that, but ones that were held out of the soil might once they get exposed to the moisture/warmth of the soil.

Thanks, esh ga. I'll hold up planting them until October or November.

I always plant spring bulbs in late Oct. or early Nov. You can frequently find good sales on them at that time too.
