indoor to ripen???

hello everyone, this is my first time here, i hope some of you may be able to answer this for me. we had a monster hail ripped my pumpkins plants to shreds!!! some of my fruits had started to ripen, and now the vines have been torn away. will they continue to ripen if i take them inside like a tomatoes?? what shall i do??

I would leave them outside in a sunny spot.. IF they have already started to turn color they should continue. The flavor probably won't be 100% but it'll still be yummy or useful for carving.

thank far i have left them outside....but now new rain...24 hours wet...wish me luck
