Identify orange and cream streaked "Cinderella" type pumpkin

ShawnmmccSeptember 13, 2013

Purchased this in a display of "heirloom" pumpkins at a store, borers wiped out my own pumpkins. It looks like a Cinderella pumpkin - wide and flattened - except it's pale orange with cream streaks, and weighs in at about 31 pounds. I took a chance as both Cinderella and the pie pumpkins my mom and I would cook as a child have that shape, and I'm hoping this will cook up as well. Thanks.

This one should have been an Atlantic Giant. Seed was from a giant that might have been pollinat by a Cinderella.
It weighed 52 lbs. and becomes more red like a lobster now.

I grew a Rouge vif dEtampes that was almost ripe when it broke off the vine, as I was trying. to adjust it. The colors looked just like that. It sat in my pantry for 2 months, and never did change color, it just stayed that way. But we ate it, and it was fine.
