Something is eating my angel's trumpet

yomamanem(7B Georgia)September 26, 2007

I thought angel's Trumpet was toxic and/or repugnant to deer and rabbits; however, something is eating the leaves off overnight. What could it be?

Tomato horn worms and grasshoppers can do a lot of damage. I've started to have a problem with them in the last couple of weeks.

Maybe its being eaten by a saddleback catarpillar/packsaddle worm.

Green worm, catapillars, etc. THey're eating mine daily. I spray with malathion which slows them down, but they come back. Angel trumpet is from the tobacco plant family so anything (tobacco worms) that eats tobacco will eat them.
