Does anybody know where in Southern Ontario - Toronto Area
I can find good quality gooseberry, red and black currant and raspberry for planting?
That is to bad you didn't have any replies for your question
of where to purchase these plants.
I wold expect it shouldn'tbe difficult to get them even at this later date in some of the nurseries.
I was thinking to get more current bushes as well
We just moved last year and Imiss mycurrent plants Did put in two black current bushes first thing when we moved. Have you ever seen white current bushes
I hesitated to list the one place I've seen currants in Ontario. Not because of any problems I've had with the place, in fact I was greatly satisfied with my purchases there, but because I have not bought any edibles there.
Even so, here is the information.
Green Valley Garden Centre
I saw red currants, hardy kiwi (which I would have gotten, but customs would have been a problem) and figs there.
