I have three Saffron blossoms in a tiny vase in my house. I planted ten bulbs purchased from Richter's and thought they wouldn't bloom. Then yesterday while in the garden there they were - the beauties! :) Now what do I do to preserve them?
I can't help with the preserving, but if you could post a picture, I would really appreciate it. I don't think that I have seen a Saffron in bloom. Maybe the photo might give me an idea. I believe it is the stamens of the Saffron which folks use for cooking.
