is it too early to put out garlic or onion setscookeville tn.

It shouldn't be too early. I used to live in Tennessee and it is a fairly mild winter. Generally you can plant onion sets as soon as the ground can be worked, or a few weeks prior to your last frost, which would be mid-April.

The garlic is a different story though. You plant it in October, let it grow through the winter and harvest in June. Strange but true! Good luck!
