Just posting a Hellebore photo
I note you are in NC. We just moved to the Wilmington area from CT and I am hoping to grow hellebores here as I did up north. Any suggestions for success in this region?
That is beautiful. Which one is it?
Hellebores do fine in the south (perhaps finer than in the north)...of course my experience is zone 7.
Thank you for the beautiful photo.
Being somewhat North of Wilmington, but, probably similar in zone, my Hellebores don't bloom in Winter. Perhaps the sort I have. Amazingly easy, mostly in Shade. A handful of bonemeal, once a year. Only two plants, that seed around, but I have not tried, seriously, to propagate the little ones.
Looking sad, at the moment, although evergreen.
Zone 7a, and a handful of bonemeal tossed on the plants, once a year, as the soil in S. Jersey is acid sand. This photo from last March, but snow is on everything, now.
