Canary mellon?

LadyAcres(Upper N Cali)August 7, 2004

I recieved some of these seeds in a swap and believe they are heirloom and grew them this year. I know nothing about them. I would like to know when to pick them. They are about the size of a smallish cataloupe now. thanks for any info you might have on these prolific wonders.

It should turn yellow on the outside when ripe. It's pretty obvious. I don't think you will have too much trouble discerning when ripe.
