Can anyone identify this Tropical?

wdrew24February 5, 2013

This is the Blood Red that I spoke of in an earlier text.
I got the cutting from a lady in Indiana and brought it to NC and it has flourished.
She had brought it to US from somewhere else. She wouldnt tell mw where, only that she wasnt supposed to.

So, can anyone identify this beauty??

It's a tropical hibiscus (H. rosa-sinensis). I don't know the cultivar name, perhaps 'Double Red?"

Thanks for sharing this with us.
As Barb mentioned it is H.rosasinensis.
I came across this website info. Could be the same.
Hope this helps,
Lakshmi.

My take on this is that it is listed as "Celia".

Go to Google and google Celia and I think you will find it OK.
