hibiscus syriacus

Desirai(7B)March 7, 2013

Hi I got some syriacus seeds, they look like regular hibiscus syriacus seeds except they have little furs around them.
Does anyone know what they might grow into?

I have seen fuzzy vs. not on all varieties of Hibs. I do not think you can determine what the type will be by the seed. I have seeds from 'Athena', 'Minerva', 'Aphrodite', 'Blue Satin', and more. I do like Hibiscus Syriacus (Rose of Sharon) as they do very well in my location. Good luck with your new seeds.

The only fuzzy ones I have are the Confederate Rose Hibiscus. The seeds are tan and the fuzz makes the seed size double.
