hello

i have a hibiscus and i am wondering what is the minimum temps it can take without harm? It is tree like and and gets yellow blossoms on it.

Thanks

What type of hibiscus are you referring to? Some are cold hardy to zone 5 or lower and others are tropical.

Tropicals do best kept above at least 45-50 degrees. I winter tropicals at 38 degree minimum low in the greenhouse and they survive.

Since you say it as labeled as a tree hibiscus, I'm betting it's a tropical.
All tropical hibiscus are the species "Hibiscus rosa-sinensis." The plants themselves look similar; it's the flowers that vary.
If you still have questions, post a pic of the whole plant.
