Please Help Me ID a Hawaiin Succulent

greekbecky2(6)September 23, 2010

A friend of a friend gave me a cutting of a Hawaiian succulent that I wish I knew the name of. The woman whom gave it to my friend was from Hawaii and told her it was from there. I wish I could attach a photo, but I'll just have to describe it to the best of my ability.

One inch tall, skinny straight shoots that get "furry" at the end of each tip. New growth branches out from the shoots. The color is a nice medium (cactus) green. The plant, in general, is small and delicate.

Any ideas of what the name of this succulent might be?

Thanks in advance!

If you haven't yet gotten an answer on this - two other forums to try are Houseplants and the Cactus forum - both of which are usually active.
