anyone knows who sells root for planting? (no, there are no asian or ethnic markets here)
I am trying to root my own turmeric.
This is my first time .
If I ever be able to grow it , probably I will use the leaves since they say the roots will take very long time to grow.
Also try Companion Plants in Ohio, Crimson Sage in Oregon or Sandy Mush Nursery in NC.
I picked up some fresh Tumeric root from Whole Foods Vegetable department. It was great in the salad and I kept a couple to root. Still waiting.
