I live in a dry area and am having trouble with some planted kupukupu dying back. It gets water 3x week via a drip system. Does kupukupu require misting or spray onto the leaves, or should dripline supply directly to the soil be ok?

Thanks for your advise

It likes being wet, but it also likes good drainage. In soil alone it can get a bit too wet in areas where water hangs out in the soil for a long time. The roots need air as much as it needs moisture.
