I have a lavender I planted last year. I just love it! Can I take cuttings or divide it to make more bushes? It's so drought and heat tolerant and the bees love it.

If possible, you'll get better results by bending a branch to the ground and pegging it down to develope roots; then you can remove the now-rooted baby from the parent and plant elsewhere.

Another way to propagate it is to use heel cuttings - I've found that very effective.
