Hi M - Mrs is going to be healthy with all that spinach! good for her! lol. You have the pretty red variety, there is also green. I grew both of them one Arizona summer...
I like the pot idea.:)

How do you like the taste? I haven't had malabar spinach yet. I tried new Zealand spinach and it tasted like SOAP to me! I'd love to find good not weather greens at actually taste OK though!

I wasn't crazy for the malabar spinach. It reminds me of okra with the slimyness. The small leaves weren't so bad, I guess. But that's just me, try it for yourself. :o)

I have to admit that I would like to like malabar spinach more than I do. It grows so well, but... And I'm someone who loves okra and isn't bothered by slimy.

I never cooked mine. I ate it raw. It has a nice, different flavor. I grew it in Vero Beach when we lived there. I've got some seeds that a friend down there sent to me. Thanks for reminding me to plant them!

j. loves it, raw in a sandwich, cooked last night. she's happy, i'm happy, plus really cool new vines in the garden! did plant a few in the ground....:)
