hibscus buds and flowers have small pest

hi everyone,

i am new here and a novice gardner,my hibscus has small microscopic green small pests which are allover buds and under the flowers,

please tell me what is it?

by your description, it sounds like Aphids. Do you see alot of ants hanging around the buds and stems too? If so, it's definitly aphids. Ants are actually caregivers to these aphids. Aphids are most commonly seen on brand new plant growth where the tissue is soft. The aphids can be controlled by mixing dish soap with water and spraying the areas where you see aphids. The "soapy water" mix actually suffocates the aphids and they die. Hope the helps.

Yep sounds like aphids like mentioned and yes a LIGHT mix of a gentle dish soap in a mister does help and ive also used ROSE spray for this and poof all gone aphids. Nasty little buggers huh??
