Hibiscus Seeds?

sapphiregirl(9)September 28, 2009

Hi, I'm de and new to this forum. Hubby and I just moved to our home back in Feb., and we're doing alot of work outside trying to get some semblance of order. We noticed there are 4 kinds of hibiscus plants. 3 are on the edge of the woods where our backyard juts back to. The 4th is a huge beautiful tropical double pink, and peach one that apparently were both planted together. I never heard of "seeds" from a hibiscus plant. Could you tell me what to look for so I can get some from the ones we have in the woods? I want to grow some in our yard along one of the fences.

I don't know how to get a picture with the message so I put a link to photobucket where I have an album with my hibiscuses from our old home.

Here is a link that might be useful: Photobucket

There are a few postings here on how to harvest seeds and what they look like.
