pond hibiscus

brownthumbia(5aIA)September 13, 2009

I posted somewhere else but I want to be sure I get an answer as quickly as possible. I inherited a hibiscus that a friend of mine had in her pond. After she died her daughter gave me the plant and I have no idea what to do with it now that it is done blooming. Should I leave it in the pond all winter or take it in the house a little later. Cut it back? or leave it as it. Store it in sunlight or in a storage area with no light? Guess I'm going to need step by step instructions on this. I would love to keep this alive as the flowers were beautiful. thanks in advance for any help you can give me. BT
