My Musical Notes, Clerodendrum incisum, is in bloom. I took this picture last night.
I love this plant. Wish it did better at my house but it freezes back every year and is slow to return.
What a beauty. I haven't seen many for sale. Looks great in your yard.
Mine freezes back each winter too but considering it's planted in the middle of the front flower bed I wouldn't want the plant to get too big! I really had no idea what it's growing requirements were when I bought it, just fell in love with it's flowers while at a plant sale and had to have it! Right now it's growing squashed between a firespike, large coleus, and butterfly bush.
Wow, that thing is beautiful! Have you been able to propagate it in any way?
I haven't tried to propgate it yet. It's actually rather hard to get to without stepping on a bunch of other plants.
I have a little one that is about 12 inches tall. I can't wait for it to bloom!!
