I have a secret gem of a Bromeliad hiding down by my propane tank. It's got lovely burgundy and red leaves, and it treated us to a surprise flowering a little while ago.

Any ideas what it is?

So I can get more?

We called it Lipstick because of the red tips on the leaves. It's very common in the yards of Vero Beach. It will send out babies at it's base.

I have that kind as well - it reproduced prolifically from just a few plants I salvaged @ our local brush site & now carpets a large area under my Live Oak.
