A Basil Border In My Herb Garden

HerbLady49(Z6 PA)July 24, 2009

As I was reading through my seed catalogs in January, I noticed that Johnny's Seeds was carrying a tiny basil "Pistou," which was almost half the size of "Spicy Bush Basil," so I thought that I might try growing it for a border in my herb garden. It turned out perfect. I sowed 7 seeds per plug, and thinned to 5. This gave me a nice little globe. I think it would be perfect for a knot garden. The fragrance is delicious. Give it a try.

Is this your garden? The planting is quite attractive.
