A toddler who was found chewing on a slug.
After the initial surge of disgust the parent said,
"Well . . . What does it taste like?"
"Worms," was the reply.
Noticed you had some Ns:
Neptune. Enable alert: Everyone needs one.
Night Before Christrmas
Niagra Falls- new 2013
Northern Exposure - new 2013
Night Before Christmas
Nakai in 2012.
NBC is such a good hosta. This one sits in half sun. It made it through summer with only a bit of burn, and it grows like mad.
An addition to the newest hosta bed - also a souvenir of last year's vacation.
I think Neptune just joined the want list.
Have never seen Naked Lady. Is it hard to grow?
Nate the Great (really tall flower stems)
I'm convinced to move my Night Before Christmas from the dark, slug ridden place it's been for the last few years. Your plants are beautiful.
I don't have so many N's but the ones I do are favorites.
Beautiful at all times of the year
Night Before Christmas
Neat and Tidy
Hi MadP, in my little experience Naked Lady is not hard to grow, but isn't a fast growing.
I never get bored, the colors changing during the season.
Luuk, lovely Naked Lady there! And of course, McTavish's Niagara Falls is the most photogenic hosta ever...
Nakaiana from Savory, set seedpods this July
Nathan's Nirvana (front left) is a Stuart Asch hosta. It reminds me of Victory somewhat.
Navajo and Night Before Christmas from WadeGatton
Neptune from Hallsons, a really frilly leaf with white back
Night Shift isn't a dark green like I expected.....
Nippers is among the cutest hosta ever..here he is in August.
None Lovelier also in August, in bloom
and that's all folks. I'll be playing catch up with the L's and M's.
My Night Life
Thanks, luuk. It looks like Naked Lady is hard to find, just modest no doubt.
'Nantucket', a plant from Rick Goodenough. I don't own this plant, nor did I take this pic. In my opinion, a fantastic hosta. I thought it should be shown in the thread.
'Niagara Falls', first year in the garden. Happy to get a piece off a mature clump.
Mc, your Niagara Falls sold me on it. Your's si a beautiful plant. Thanks for sharing.
Here's my Northern Exposure. Phil
Nice post, Paul. And the new one I took away from it was 'Nancy'. Gonna go look that one up now.
P.S. Just returned from the hosta library. Looks like your 'Nancy' is much more mature than the ones in the library, Paul. Great looking plant.

NBC has been moved a couple of times, and just keeps on growing along. It's such a good child.
Night before Christmas
If NOID counted as an "N", I could post a good dozen more...
I think NOID is actually coming up next as it's own thread, Old Dirt. I hear you; I have several NOID's ready to post myself!
All of my favorite characteristics in a hosta wrapped up into one!
