Snake plants

chinchette(9b)July 25, 2012

I have snake plants growing in my landscape. Is there something I need to do to take care of them? Fertilizer?

Also, I pulled some out and want to put them inside in a pot. When I've done that in the past, the flop over. Do any of you have a trick to getting a plant that is top heavy to stand up? Is there some sort of plant "pin" to hold them where you want them?

I have used stakes and a twist tie to keep newly planted plants upright. Snake plants are very hardy and need only a little water. They'll take full sun or shade. :o)

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of that with an indoor plant. (duh...)

i just transplanted some snake plants and they all fell over too but the new growth is coming out strong so it's probably nothing to worry about.
